Our first gig of 2010, complete with three whole new songs. With The LP (last.fm). Come get some.
We will be playing at The Climate is in Our Hands: a climate change awareness event at the Civic Hall in Connah's Quay. We also have The Issues with us, playing at 9:30pm - we'll be on at 10pm. Doors are open to the public from 7:30pm.
"The climate is in our hands is about the small steps we can take to make a difference by reducing our own carbon footprint. Also, during the week and at the event we are asking people to sign a petition to encourage UK government to lobby hard at Copenhagen summit in December to produce plans to reduce emissions globally and to support developing nations in this task either financially or with technology."
Admission is £1 on the door. The venue is not licensed to serve alcoholic beverages but soft drinks and other refreshments will be available.
Back for a blast at the Wine Vaults for the monthly Plug n' Play with Shindig (its the last Thursday of every month, folks!). Plenty of usual faces plus a few new ones (oh, and Boz hasn't met you lot yet). As usual, music starts around 9pm and plays till the bar closes.
Battle of the Bands! Please come support Babylon Leaf (Hanny, Neil, Paul, Rich, Tom and Boz). The lads have been away for 12 months and are now back with a new drummer… Look forward to seeing you there.
Line up for evening: The Alan Crawford Band, Babylon Leaf, Dirty Static and Calling Shotgun; plus Rock DJ. Entrance is £4 with a Babylon Leaf ticket/flyer - contact any band member for tickets!
